Gayle Meredith

Gayle Meredith has practised family law for over 40 years and is one of Sydney’s leading family lawyers. Before launching Gayle Meredith and Associates in 1994, Gayle was a Partner at one of Australia’s most well-respected family law practices.

Gayle holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales. She is an accredited family law specialist under the Law Society of New South Wales Specialist Accreditation Scheme. She has held this accreditation since 1993, the year in which the Specialist Accreditation Scheme was introduced.

Gayle is also a Nationally Accredited Mediator under the Commonwealth Government mediator accreditation scheme. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators, and for ten years was a mediator on the panel of the Family Law Settlement Serice of the Law Society of NSW.

Gayle's experience and skills equip her to provide exceptional, high-quality, expert advice in the most complex family-related financial matters. She is committed to facilitating the resolution of disputes and brings to her skills and experience as a mediator. Gayle has extensive experience in all aspects of proceedings before the Courts.

Gayle is well known as a presenter of papers at Continuing Legal Education seminars. She has written articles that have been published in the "Australian Family Lawyer", a nationally distributed publication published by the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.

She has been a member of the Family Law Committee of the Law Society of New South Wales and the Family Law Committee of the Specialist Accreditation Board of the Law Society of New South Wales. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, and the Law Society of New South Wales. In her capacity as a mediator she is a member of the Australian Family Law Accredited Mediators.
